General Membership Information
If you want to challenge yourself and help your neighbors at the same time, than West Corners Fire is your answer. We are more than a fire department, we are a family of dedicated individuals volunteering time and personal skills to help serve the West Corners community.
We are ALWAYS accepting new recruits for various positions:
- Firefighters
- Drivers (on all vehicles)
- Fire Police
- EMS
- Auxiliary
- General Positions
We offer a number of celebrations throughout the year in recognition to your time spent volunteering. An annual Dinner Dance, Summer Picnic-Pig Roast for you and your family and many other company events.

Membership Requirements
We have wide variety of positions available at West Corners Fire. It’s simple to apply, just meet some standard requirements:
- 16 years of age or older
- Live within 2.5 miles of the West Corners Fire District
- Subject to security check by Broome County Sheriffs Office
